Documents Required For Aadhar Address(POA) Change

Aadhaar is a 12-digit Unique Identification number which was provided to all the citizens in India. This Aadhar Card has become the most important Legal document because so many Public and Private sectors are accepting the Aadhaar card as the proof Document or Identity card.

People after getting an Aadhaar card wishes to change their home address on the Aadhar Card due to various reasons like the Citizen moved to a new place or when the citizen bought a new house etc. In all of these cases, people want to change or modify the address details which are registered in their Aadhaar.

All the documents in the above-mentioned table can be accepted as the proof or supporting documents for the Address Change request. These are accepted if it is an online or offline procedure. The only thing is that there should be no fake document submitted as the proof document. During the verification procedure, the application or the request will get rejected.

Note: The Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill,  Gas Connection Bill and Water Bill mentioned in the above table should not be older than 3 months at the time you are submitting them as proof documents.

Having an Aadhaar card will give so many advantages when you are attending any examination you can use that Aadhaar as the Proof. This Aadhar card can be used as the proof of identity (PoI), Proof of Address (PoA), and Proof of Date of Birth (DoB) document too.
